In honor of the holy Eid al-Adha holiday for Muslims, the Red Crescent of Kazakhstan, together with colleagues from the Turkish Red Crescent, distributes meat for people from socially vulnerable groups.
Thus, 1,000 low-income, large, single-parent families will receive assistance. 5kg of meat will be given to each family.
The recipients of the assistance are residents of Almaty and Almaty region.
The Red Crescent of Kazakhstan and the Turkish Red Crescent are long-standing partners, which allows for joint projects like this.
During the catastrophic earthquake in Turkey and Syria, the Red Crescent of Kazakhstan, thanks to the support of concerned citizens, provided financial assistance to the Turkish Red Crescent in the amount of over 107 million tenge, which will support the activities to restore and minimize the consequences of the earthquake.
