The Red Crescent of Kazakhstan in partnership with The Coca-Cola Foundation continues to provide assistance to flood victims in the North Kazakhstan region. At the first stage 704 people living in evacuation centres received assistance. At the moment it is planned to provide assistance to 1,168 people from the most vulnerable groups of the population, including large and single-parent families, lonely elderly people and persons with disabilities.
The humanitarian aid to be handed over to the victims includes food, sanitary and hygienic supplies and bed kits. To date, preparatory work is underway to purchase and store humanitarian aid in the Red Crescent branch of the North Kazakhstan region.
We continue to work to help people in difficult life situations and express our gratitude to our partners for their invaluable support.
