Last Thursday, IFRC Secretary General Jagan Chapagain paid a working visit to Kazakhstan, where he met with the leadership of the National Society.

President of the Red Crescent of Kazakhstan Yerkebek Argymbayev spoke about the achievements of the Society and the successes that have been achieved in recent years. Issues of further development of the Company were discussed. Special attention is paid to the issues of strengthening branches, as well as increasing the potential of the National Society to carry out its mandated activities on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In addition, during the meeting with the Secretary General of the IFRC and the President of the Red Crescent, agreements were reached on cooperation between the two organizations.
